Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum - ZigZag Project
This is a joint venture between Cleveland Model Railway Club (CMRC) and Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum (CIMM).
The model will be based on the famous Skinningrove Zig Zag which was in operation between 1865 and May 1958.
Detailed planning and research are currently being undertaken prior to actual construction. The Museum have requested that the model
will be set in the period 1900-1910 when the line was still in use for ironstone traffic.

It is envisaged that it may take up to ten years to complete the project and we would welcome any offers of help, both in the
research phase (photographs/plans & documents etc) and once we have a suitable location with the construction of baseboards, track,
buildings& rolling stock. If you are able to help in any way could you please
email us cimm-cmrc@ClevelandMRC.org.uk
